More Than A Tradition, Cinco De Mayo With Tacos Is A Must
Even though Cinco de Mayo occurs on May 5 every year, there are solid reasons to extend the event beyond just one day by looking at the history and culinary customs.
Taco cart caterers are fully aware of this. Service
staff are frequently requested to provide services at Cinco de Mayo events, and
it is not unusual for attendees to declare that they are commemorating Mexican
Independence Day (which in fact is September 16; May 5 was the day when the
Mexican army overcame the French in the Battle of Puebla).
Because so many of the meals associated with Cinco de Mayo Décor are now
widely recognized as foods that scream "fiesta," the season is a
little bit hazier. On America's Fourth of July, at birthdays in any month, at
Super Bowl parties, at football tailgate parties, even at the biggest
ballparks, nachos are a staple for ardent fans. Other popular Mexican dishes
include guacamole, tacos, tamales, quesadillas, fajitas, salsas, nachos,
chilaquiles, enchiladas, and carne asada. (Note: Almost all of these events
almost always feature a margarita bar.)
Mobile taco catering, in particular, makes for a
really successful event on many levels. Its versatility is one of its benefits.
Tacos are frequently created to order in front of the diner, allowing
vegetarians to sit next to individuals who want pork, chicken, shrimp, or
tilapia in theirs. Professionals who cater tacos have an advantage over those
who cater other types of food since the mobile, all-in-one kitchen carts
provide for flexibility in the event site. Wherever it is most beneficial for
the event as a whole, you can park one or more service stations. Additionally,
because tacos are typically consumed by hand, less tables and serving utensils
are needed.
So holding a taco-themed event, whether or not centered
on the Mexican army's defeat of the French, is totally suitable year-round.
However, hosts should make an effort to use high-quality, genuine ingredients in
their dishes.

What attributes, in particular, to tacos, make them
particularly good Mexican fiesta food? Invest in fresh ingredients first. The
best Central American cuisine starts with the local agriculture, which includes
fresh fish from the sea, poultry, cattle, or pork from American farms,
tomatillos, onions, and cilantro. Even with a confluence of cultures, it also
requires originality. There is no single "official taco ingredient,"
and toconistas have never shied away from absorbing ideas from other immigrant
cultures, so this is nothing new in Mexican taco culture. This is why one of the
more well-liked taco varieties is Jamaican chicken.
